My qualifications to comment on Tara Tainton’s acting skills are as follows: 1) I know a good thing when I see it, which I think we can all claim as a qualification, 2) I was a lead actor in drama classes in high school and in undergraduate school, where I Minored in Theater & Drama. Having acted myself for several years in my youth, I know a little something about it. I know how hard it is to act *with* someone, even when your partner(s) are feeding you emotionally with direct engagement via the lines & scenario. I can perceive how difficult it must be to look at a camera, pretend it’s another person in the room, and naturally — so naturally! — recite one side of a dialogue. What I can’t perceive is how to be so good at such a thing — and this is really an unique, quite strange form of performance — that the viewer forgets the reality of Tara’s particular art-form, forgets that a woman is talking to a camera, and starts imagining his half of the dialogue inside his head as the show goes on.

In such circumstances, the erotica could almost be considered a mere side-dish to the extraordinary feast of a talented woman giving a deeply absorbing performance as worthy as any divas with gold statues in their closets has ever given.

I’m not blowing smoke, Tara. The moments around the 48-minute mark after the first “explosion” are extraordinary: we can see 3 or 4 thoughts crowding your mind at once, and you blow out a soft sigh. A small, not overly dramatic tug-of-war between desire & regret. Deeply subtle & highly intelligent. The realism is so natural that it usually requires 5 years at the Actors Studio to get there … or, in your case, 5 years in front of that camera, always pushing yourself to greater heights.

Earlier I said the erotic part is a side-dish? Well, let’s not *exaggerate*. :) Bending down to kiss us as you ride us, whispering in our ear … to say nothing of all the incremental seduction — so arousing! — that has gone on for the previous 50 minutes … oh well, that’s enough talking from me, I think. Lord have mercy, lady.

You’re simply the best. Better than all the rest. :)
