Ah... what a long and crazy road it's been. So intensely fun, sometimes utterly exhausting, and all thoroughly meaningful as I've watched and been titillated by how my own sexuality and self-confidence have evolved. My site's grown so much, changed design a few times, and has focused on several different changing audiences and bundles of fans and friends.
Oh, this almost sounds like a farewell letter, doesn't it? Of course, I'm not going anywhere! I'm here to present to the world what one true woman is all about, how all-encompassing the world of sex is, how stereotypes hold little meaning if any use at all, and "normal" is open to so much interpretation in this sexual realm that it truly takes on the equivalent meaning of "everything." Oh, no, I'm not going anywhere. I'll be documenting the sexual life of an 80-year-old (ex?)porn star eventually... just to satiate your curiosity!!
Just last week, I felt the urge to write a blog entry addressing those bullies and barbarians again (refer to "A Word to the Brutes, Bullies, and Barbarians Out There..."), those the image of my naked body seems to be a magnet for, reminding them that I have a keen eye for spotting them and they can just relax and not bother with trying to drag me into their personal drama. It is funny how I never had this "problem" before. Not when TaraTainton.com was first published as the portfolio of a budding erotica writer. Not even as I shared more and more intimate photos of my genuine self participating weekly in Half Naked Thursdays with my fellow bloggers. No, there's something about erotic video that attracts the controlling, manipulative types. I guess they believe the conservatives in nudity equating vulnerability. Ha!
Yes, I was going to write a blog entry... about how I've come to reconfirm that certain types of folks living in a certain type of reality where they view everyone as either to be controlled or the one doing the controlling cannot even recognize the words, explanations, attitude, approach, and lifestyle of the rest of us living in REALity, where everyone is viewed and interacted with as equal and no attempts to control or be controlled are made... in any conversation, in any relationship, in any workplace, in any home, in any approach to another human being. My words and teachings would be wasted on those not actually living in the same world I am. They just can't fathom where I'm coming from or what it's like to live in this reality where everyone is happy, positive, strong, confident, unattached, and never part of a needy power play. Thus, there's really no reason to address those living in that alternate reality anymore. No reason at all. One single minute spent addressing them or telling them to "quit it" via email is one minute I'm not willing to lose to that personality type anymore. My entire life, and definitely throughout the existence and evolution of TaraTainton.com, I've wanted to help others, help others as I've needed help in the past.... share the knowledge I've learned and the experiences I've gathered infinite strength from. Just as in my last long-term relationship in which I stuck around way too long in the effort to help another "see the light" and what he was doing to himself and others, I've directed my attention to those of that negative reality in blog entries here on many different subjects to just help. But this time, I was going to write about how it's now firmly planted in my mind that I cannot help them out of that reality; they can't even understand my language. Thus, there's absolutely no reason to address them in any way for any reason whatsoever.
I was going to share that new direction for all my future blog entries, the very freeing of my focus and attention itself... all the more for those of you sharing my own reality of mutual respect, appreciation, and personal growth to enjoy!! And what a great thing that is. Until today, I was too tired, too exhausted to write that blog entry and celebrate a re-dedication of my own time, words, and sexual fun to those of you who are indeed wholeheartedly welcome here in every conceivable way. And then today, I heard from my good friend Tatiana von Tauber, a fellow enlightened soul and supremely intelligent woman choosing to share of herself and through her art in the most intimate ways possible, in those ways that have the most power to positively affect the entire world. All Tatiana had to do was mention "hello" or privilege me with seeing her name in my inbox to completely re-energize me and put a big, fat smile on my face.
So, here is possibly my first official and definitely my most enthusiastic WELCOME to those of you who have touched my soul, offered me as much encouragement, respect, fun, delight, and positivity as I have you, and live in this outrageously awesome sex-positive reality with me. I love you! I won't be addressing the others on this site anymore. After all, it was never created for them.
