Tara Melts in your Mouth, Not in your Hands

Mmmm, to have that creamy smoothness warming my tongue right now... No taste or texture arouses my tongue and woos my mouth as chocolate does. The mere smell awakens my senses, and my lover knows he's in for a very special thank-you when he comes home bearing gifts of chocolate.

I'd love to take a bath in chocolate, to swim in it, to wear it, to be surrounded by it. And to be sculpted in chocolate... now, there's an idea!

Is there a woman in the world who doesn't, at least secretly, want to be idolized, placed on a pedestal, treated like the princess she knows herself to be? If I was worshipped, perhaps with potential lovers kneeling at my feet and panting for the opportunity to feel their skin against my own, the full potential of my inner sexual goddess would emerge.

And it seems she already has!

Chocolate Deities has already realized the sensual power that Tara represents and how fitting commemorating her image in chocolate really is. After all, Tara is the Tibetan Buddhist goddesses of love and compassion, the divine feminine, shakti. Harley, blogger of Adventures in Cohabitation and a lover of chocolate herself, discovered my chocolate-covered namesake and shared the link with me.

As the creator of chocolate Tara shares, "the legend of Tara's origin is that Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, was looking down from his heaven on the world of suffering beings, and he wept to see that more and more of them were in pain. From the tears streaming down his face two Taras were born."

The Green Tara is filled with compassion. "Always when you call, she will come... Her name means 'One Who Saves.' Tara is believed to protect the human beings while they are crossing the ocean of existence. Her compassion for living beings, her desire to save them from suffering, is said to be stronger than a mother's love for her children." That does sound like your WebMistress and her quest to bring you TaraTainton.com to answer you questions, support your own exploration, and encourage you to go forth and fuck!

The White Tara "represents the motherly aspect of compassion. Her color indicates that she is Truth, complete and undifferentiated. She sees all suffering and hears all cries for help in the human world using both ordinary and psychic or extraordinary means of perception... White Tara... is so ravishing that she might well arouse the very passion she is frequently invoked to calm, were it not that she inspires the kind of exalted reverence a palace guard might be expected to feel for a young and lovely princess entrusted to his care. White Tara is connected with longevity. She is also the special goddess who helps her devotees overcome obstacles, particularly impediments to enlightenment." Yes, sexual knowledge and awareness are part of the path to true enlightenment!

At Chocolate Deities, you can order, own, and enjoy a chocolate version of your WebMistress herself. You can partake of me in white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and lovely handpainted varieties! The creators add, "Enjoy our Chocolate Deities’ Taras...they are filled with Theobromine and Anandamide–substances that elicit godliness, bliss, peace, serenity, ecstasy and joy. Surely Tara, in her great compassion meant them for us." Yes, surely I am here to fill you all with the heights of ecstasy and joy!

I can be gift wrapped, and you should be able to enjoy me for a long, long time in my 12.2-ounce and 6x4-inch edible size. I'm getting hungry already. And I always wanted the gift of being able to eat myself...

And why is a deity worthy of being recreated in chocolate? Because chocolate is "induces and celebrates love, which brings you into relationship with all living things; helps to heal a broken heart; brings joy, which helps your spiritual journey; calls forth peace and compassion; lowers stress, which helps you on your inner journey; carries anti-oxidants, which help you on your healing journey; has aphrodisiac qualities which enlarge and foment fecundity; stimulates the imagination, and according to the ancient Aztecs who first discovered it, provides strength and wisdom." Why else?

Now, I wonder if there's a company or artist out there that is willing to sculpt my better known human form in chocolate as well? That is something I'd really love to see!

Be sure to check out the site to see if your godlike self is already being nibbled on in chocolate form around the world. Or maybe you'll find something too unique and yummy to pass up as a gift for someone else.

And look what I just found in honor of today's chocolate-themed blogging! Condomania offers chocolate flavored condoms... there is a god! And talk about the perfect stocking stuffer (stocking to be stuffed by??). Check out the link below, and try to contain yourself.
