Playgirl Dish for September

It's that glorious time of the month again! The new issue of Playgirl has arrived in the usual big and bold fashion. There's a shy, sultry looking young man on the cover who seemingly longs for a lover's admiring eye. I'm happy to oblige him!

Honestly, what first caught my eye in the new September issue (besides another prize giveaway for readers, my name appearing on the fourth page, and Man of the Year, Charles Dera's provocative image) was a particular reader's letter. I usually don't even read them, but the new layout caught my eye this time. That, and the guy in US Army camouflage appearing on the same page...

Under the eye-catching heading, "Don't Take the Penis Away," reader Julie shares what I think all of us confident females can agree with. We want more penis!!! Julie's letter is awesome, proving that women are indeed in need of a courageous publication finally giving us exactly what we want: more of the male. She writes, "I want to see the penis - it's a beautiful thing." I can't agree more! She's also got balls... in that positive, feminist sort of way. She's urging the magazine to prove that it's got balls as well and deliver what "over the counter," under age 18 magazines don't and can't: lots of penis and the grittiest sex-related information available. We'll wait and see if Playgirl continues to grow more edgy than its reputation.

Meanwhile, Julie's my new favorite female comrade. Just wish I could say hello to her and give her that universally recognized nod of approval. Now, I may be moved to write my very first letter-to-the-editor. Then again, I don't know what in the world to write to Playgirl that I haven't already voiced. My needs, wants, turn-ons, and fantasies aren't exactly a secret.

So what else does the mag have in store for the population this month? Well, the staff must've caught wind of my own recent Sexy Scoop entry, "Music & Sex: What Do You Fuck to?" because they've included they're own top 10 list of sexy lyrics. The recommended latest releases in books, movies, music, and "buzzworthy sites," are always worth a peek. Frankly, I could do without the random (probably not-so-random) pictures of pushed products. This girl ain't into purses and such or what girls traditionally keep in 'em, if you know what I mean.

I'd much rather find just a few highly recommended items that today's female shouldn't be without or would at least really treasure as a gift. And I want to know that after other women have already given the products a try or a look-through. Luckily, rumor has it that Playgirl's in the process of rounding up its posse members to participate in a sexy product review panel. That's right, you'll soon get the real scoop on what's on the market and if it really delivers that gratification you're looking for. I can't wait!

Sexplorer Jayme Waxman ventures into previously uncharted (at least as far as major publications for women go) territory by telling us the real how-to of everything from vaginal fisting to shaving for yet more kinky play. Licking ass and "queening" aren't taboo topics either. Now, that's what I like to see in my magazine!

And then there was Morgan. The provocatively pierced hottie, they say, was found in an alley. I'm not complaining. He's hot as fuck, pardon my Australian. And the pics of him resting his bare skin against the cement city walls just make me wonder how dimpled his tight ass would be after I pressed him up against that wall even harder with my body.

Dirty talk? I covered that one in a blog entry this month as well. (See "Dirty Talk: from Your Lips to Hers.") Is Playgirl stealing their ideas from me? If so, it's fine by me, because their contributors always come up with a new angle or educational tidbit I haven't discovered on my own, which is exactly what we want in our paid reading. Just as promised by this year's editorial changes at Playgirl, the topics that really, really need to be approached are making their way into the magazine. We're made more knowledgeable about HPV, the sexually transmitted virus that affects more of the sexually active population than we care to admit, and Carly Milne (who I've been introduced to in this issue and am eager to follow the projects of) tells us how adult-oriented companies are taking sex to the mainstream public in a way they can actually find palatable.

Playgirl Better Sex Boot Camp. Yep, that was my favorite find in last month's issue too! This month, we learn how to demand what we all deserve: good cunnilingus. And I'm not referring to finding a man willing to stuff his nose down there. I mean good cunnilingus, the makings of that half hour-long shudder that sweeps through you when a man really knows what he's doing. My own partner loves to cook up new "tricks" to introduce while playing with me. I really can't complain...but he's still going to read this article. You can never be too skilled.

Oh my... now, they've really hit the nail on the head! Yes, the world's coming 'round to acknowledging that sex is good for many more reasons than one. This month, Playgirl gives us eight very detailed and variable ways to get moving, get satisfied, and get fit with sex. That's every girl and guy's favorite way to stay in shape. In fact, it's my primary method. And Playgirl's listed some maneuvers I've never even heard of. Ooh, wait, my partner just grabbed the mag out of my hands to read that one. I gotta tear it away from him...

More provocative articles, interviews, and daring debate grace the pages this month. You know, stuff to rival the quality and eclectic mix found in Playboy (yes, everyone usually does read the articles), but it can be found right here amongst photos of gloriously nude men. And speaking of the men, the variety continues this issue with long-haired would-be lovers, gruff, detached frisky fellows, stylish studs who skydive in boxers, and one handsome hunk hung like a horse....and that doesn't even describe all of them. They're gettin' it on between the pages of tales of erotic encounters.

And the real men... they're one of my very favorite additions to each issue. And I think it's time that I get a particular bad boy to volunteer for some posing to benefit womankind in a future issue...
