Sex is as important as eating or drinking
and we ought to allow the one appetite to be satisfied
with as little restraint or false modesty as the other.

I'm always online, and I'm always seeking out new information. And learning
more about the subject of sex is always the most fun. Creating this site
alone required a lot of research. I wanted to get a feel for how I
related to the world of sex and which topics I wanted to approach. I wanted
to see just where my own interests lie and where they do with others.
Research is certainly a part of a writer's life as well. We're always
gleaning new ideas from one source or another. |

Few things are more satisfying, especially to a writer, than knowing you're
being heard. Startling though, is realizing you're being heard by an unintended
audience. Not one day after I write my blog entry about the surprising rejection
of my application to the
Cunning Linguists directory, I receive a message from one of the admins
working behind the scenes there. |

My fellow erotica writer, Vasper Janik, and I were swapping sordid stories and
past experiences earlier today as we quickly realized the telling of the tales
was providing excellent motivation for writing. The very moments we'd been so
involved with at one instant in our lives were inspiring of their own accord:
great material for a story and superb imagery for poetry. Before we knew it,
Vasper was writing well into the night and I was jotting down subject ideas for
future stories. |

Upon receipt of the e-mail, I was so perturbed. Within minutes of submitting
TaraTainton.com to one of the many directories of sites with "mature
content," I was rejected. Hell, I haven't even gotten a rejection notice from an
editor yet! |

You're now looking at (the website of) the newest member of the Playgirl Posse.
My additional title is "Posse Ambassador." Sounds pretty impressive, doesn't it?
But what does it mean? I don't know... I received my latest issue of Playgirl
and discovered, much to my amusement, that there's a gathering of fellow gals
forming a posse to promote the magazine and its ideals. And who wouldn't want to
be officially known as a "playgirl?" |

I found a beautiful erotic photo collection presented on the
Ladyfire site.
Apparently, they showcase a new artist or gallery monthly. April highlights
photographer Victor Ivanovski. Check out the gallery and his own website as
well...very interesting photography capturing humans in more of their day-to-day
forms. |

If we are so evolved, enlightened, and free, then why do these laws still exist?? They're hilarious but not a laughing matter.

I'm ashamed to admit (not really, I'm never ashamed of anything I do!!) that I'm
guilty of committing the writer's faux pas. I haven't been writing...
My excuse? I've been tied up in designing, planning, writing, and making this
website happen. The trouble is that I love to play on the web. More
specifically, I love designing, creating, making things "pretty." It's fun.
Writing is fun in a different way. I need both types of fun, but I have this bad
habit of neglecting one for the other. |

I just came across the best news I've heard in a long time. The country
of New Zealand has a special place in my heart for a variety of reasons, but
mainly because the land is just special. Every traveler feels it upon
stepping on the soil (outside of Auckland, that is!) and seeing the majestic
mountains rising all around, the clear blue sky and white clouds hovering above,
and the many sites only New Zealand can offer in such a small area. It's the
land of a million rainbows, making it the pot of gold at the end of them. |

Now, I'm a girl that loves to express myself.
I'm a writer! I like to "use my words" in written form as well as in midst
of the act. After all, language was designed for us to better communicate
and interact with those around us and make more meaningful connections.
When it comes to playing, I tend to be....ahem, not so quiet. |
