Your WebMistress a "Porn Saint?!" Oh, you better believe it! I am absolutely thrilled for my much anticipated and long-awaited induction into the Porn Saints by the Porn Pope himself. Yes, there is a "Porn Church," and I now belong to the congregation. I'm a believer, a follower, a porn saint myself. And what a beautiful, open-minded, and incredibly sexy group I'm now a part of!
Since first discovering the Porn Church, I've been eternally fascinated by what it stands for, what the Porn Pope, artist Francesco D'Isa, has begun and how he views art and pornography and those of who create either, and what the Porn Saints themselves represent. I've been eager to join the ranks of sexy Porn Saints myself.... and my, what an erotic and empowering bunch they are.
Just this week, the Porn Pope introduced me formally to the attentive, church-going masses in "Tara Tainton." There, you'll find a great little interview conducted by the Porn Pope and enlightening my fellow Porn Saints, fans, and friends with my own thoughts about what it means to be a Porn Saint and the connection between spirituality and pornography.
As with all of the other inspiring inductees, I will be more formally inducted into sainthood soon when a unique and intimate artistic portrayal of myself is unveiled on the Porn Saints site and blog. Karen Preston was selected to render my image in her own view and by her own interpretation that is sure to awe all of us very soon. Amazingly, the same artwork based on photos of myself will be on display at the upcoming Porn Saints exhibition at the A&D Gallery in London beginning in September of this year. So, what exactly is PornSaints.org all about, and what am I teaming up with? This much needed movement is "an artistic approach to porn, a pornographic approach to art, a pornoartistic approach to religion... a porn website without sex and an art website with porn. We are a community devoted to art and porn." The Porn Saints are proud of what they represent: "we are the Porn Church and we make the Porn Culture. Everthing classy is welcome at pornsaints.org - vulgarity included." I couldn't have said it better myself.
