Few things are more satisfying, especially to a writer, than knowing you're
being heard. Startling though, is realizing you're being heard by an unintended
audience. Not one day after I write my blog entry about the surprising rejection
of my application to the
Cunning Linguists directory, I receive a message from one of the admins
working behind the scenes there.
Finding himself interested enough to peruse my site himself, he also happened upon my confusion over not being accepted by the directory. Thankfully, he saw the true intention of my rant and made the kind gesture of sending me a personal message to clarify the intent of the Cunning Linguists list and its purpose. So, to help clarify for the rest of you webmistresses and masters and prolific and explicit online journal keepers who may be interested in adding your own journal to the directory, here is a bit of specific info for its intentions:
The admin extended the offer to add Tara's Trysts to the massive directory by linking directly to the blog, not my site as a whole. And I've accepted the reconsideration of my application. I always knew I was a true, cunning linguist! Beware you bloggers out there...remember that you're online pouring out of thoughts may actually be read. Fathom that! I know, sometimes it feels like we're all alone out here, but that's not actually the case.
